emacsでphp-modeのデフォルトエンコーディングをutf-8にしたい件

Meadow2を参考にさせて頂き、以下の記述を~/.emacsの先頭に追加するとスッパリ解決。

(modify-coding-system-alist 'file "\\.php$" 'utf-8)
(modify-coding-system-alist 'file "\\.inc$" 'utf-8)

やはり頼るべきはイソターネットですね。
